Website Design for Personal Trainers
Someone has decided this is the month they finally do something about it. They're on their phone at half nine at night, they've found three trainers near them, and they're trying to work out which one won't make them feel stupid in week one.
They are not comparing your qualifications. They're comparing how you come across. A personal trainer's website is mostly about tone, and that is a good thing, because tone is the part you already have.
What's included
Five pages, live by day five:
- A home page that says who you train, where, and what happens first.
- A services page, one-on-one sessions, twelve-week programs, online coaching, with prices, or honest "from" prices.
- A page for each thing you offer, so somebody searching "online coaching" or "in-home personal trainer" lands on the right one.
- An about page, which for a PT is the page that actually converts. Your story, your certification, who you're good with.
- A contact page with a tap-to-call button and your email.
Plus opening hours, an email address on your own domain instead of a Gmail one, and a dashboard where you can change prices or add a new program yourself. Or text us and it's live by 5pm.
Hosting and backups are free for two months, then $5 a month.
Why it matters for personal trainers
You are the product. Nobody buys "strength and conditioning". They buy the specific person who is going to text them on a Tuesday when they've skipped two sessions. That means the about page does more work here than on almost any other kind of site, and it needs to sound like you rather than like a brochure.
A free first session needs somewhere to live. If you offer one, it should be visible on every page, not buried. It's the lowest-risk thing a nervous beginner can say yes to.
Instagram is a shopfront, not an address. It's excellent at reach and terrible at explaining a twelve-week program, holding your prices, or being findable by someone who has never heard of you. The account and the site do different jobs, keep both.
We write the words from what you tell us. Send a voice note between clients if that's easiest.
